I write honest reviews for games I enjoy, so if you want an in-depth opinion of games, there’s no other place to be than there. They are fully written in English and fully detailed (at least the newer reviews). Feel free to check them out.

Yooka Laylee was is basically a spiritual successor and I really enjoyed it.
Only bad thing I didn't like about it was one of the last words is almost impossible to 100% complete on high end PCs due to the frame rate or something ... I played it just over 3 years ago so forgive me for not remembering the exact details .... still have it installed to eventually try again and again.

I've only played Hell's Highway and Road To Hill 30, and they look and feel decent for the games of that age... But it was the story in Hell's Highway that really got to me....

The 2000's games used to have some really interesting characters as monsters. Nowadays, we only have humans, barely any humanoids or monsters as protagonists. We need more of that.

Yeah, I can only think about Evolve when I search for the monster enemy... But it was only multiplayer so It didn't end well. Developers should look at 2000's games and try with something older, but I suppose it wouldn't give like 1/10 money they can get from popular franchises.

Developers nowadays only follow what works because that's what sells. Only indie game developers risk it and create something unique.

Yes, we can only count on an indie developer to undertake a similar game to Giants: Citizen Kabuto, but I suspect that there is a really small chance for that

I've always been thinking that a community like Steamgift could gather together some really awesome game developers together and create a group together that could make some awesome games if they wanted.

It's a shame that both Mafia 2 and 3's remakes weren't as well-acclaimed as this one (iirc many people said that both the story and the gameplay of 2 and 3 were not that great), although I do understand that this is the most recent Mafia remake. Well, I've not played any Mafia games so can't really comment myself lol, but anyways cheers for the GA!

I've played the original, but didn't play this one yet. Mafia left a good vibe for me. Mafia 2 was a lot better in gameplay, but vibe was a little different than the original. I think Mafia 3 was an excellent action game, but I didn't click that much with the period. I think they umphed it too much and I was missing the old Mafia.

I also want a remake of the Legacy of Kain series.
A remake of Future Wars (an old point and click by Delphine software), or a sequel. Maybe a trilogy expanding the game universe would be awesome.
