The best present you can gift me would be one minute of your spare time to check the game my brother and I are going to release in 2021. It has a playable demo, and if you like it, please don't forget to add it to your wishlist. It would help us so much to gain some visibility in an endless ocean of indie games!
Here's the game showcase thread, which has more giveaways running :)

The game looks interesting, and I love your "progress bar" animation on this SG train. That's something I've never seen before and it's cool. :)
Thanks for the giveaways and happy birthday!

From my experience with Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, this one is very promising.

Thanks for the train and happy birthday!
The game looks interesting and I have added it to my wishlist. Looks somewhat like Devil Daggers, which I absolutely suck at. Going to check out the demo some time when I have a bit more time to spare.
Good luck!

Thanks for the spot in your wishlist :D

Your game's trailer makes it look like it's just swarms of enemies that beeline towards you with zero variation in enemy AI or level design (except the enemy spawners and the ONE fire-trailing NPC). How do you plan on making your game stand out from similar titles, like, I dunno, Ziggurat?

Thanks for checking the game :)
To be honest, we're not satisfied by the teaser trailer. It was created in a rush because of Steam's deadline for submitting the game to the past Steam Autumn Festival. We will eventually create a better one when we feel we have more material to show.
I assure you the enemies you saw in the trailer do much, much more than mindlessly chasing the player ;)
For example, the green sprouts flocking algorithm took us more than a month alone of fine tweaking to become both fair and challenging to the player. Just an interesting video to help you understand what I'm talking about.
We showcased the enemies we were really confident about. Meanwhile we have many more prototypes almost production-ready.
We have bull types, projectiles shooters, stationary traps, ground smashers, leviathans, etc.
We will also include giant bosses at the end of each area. They will feature a variety of close and long ranged attacks as well as spawning minions.

Already tried the game and wishlisted it from the previous thread you made. Hope it does well.

Your game really looks like Devil Daggers in another setting ^^
I hope, you have a successful release~ :D

Thanks! Yeah, Devil Daggers has been our main inspiration and study material during the early stage of prototyping.
It really helped us to learn what makes an arena shooter good and what doesn't. We are still far away from DD's perfection but creating a clone was never our goal. The round arena serves well for a demo, but we aim to expand the gameplay with levels, objectives, power-ups, and giant bosses :)

I definitely dig the art style already, it kind of reminds me of Risk of Rain 2.
I am looking forward to see what this game turns out to be when it releases ^^
