I love iced tea, but I had to cut back because I like it with a LOT of sugar. Now I'm trying to drink more water and less of everything else.

That is true that people consume way to much sugar. Sugar substitute isn't better.
Tap water, fltered or bottled?

Mostly filtered water, we have a big filtered pitcher in our refrigerator. I know it's better for me, but I still struggle at times. I almost always want something with more flavor. And I have never found a 'water flavor' product that I liked.

I know it’s a cliché, but have you ever tried adding lemon/cucumber?

Cucumber water is so good during summer.

have you tried fruit tea? Sweet but without insane amounts of sugar :)

I've recently gotten hooked on lemon tea.
To be able to drink it anytime in my room, I bought bottled water, tea leaves, lemon juice, and a small electric kettle.
For the first few weeks after buying them, I truly enjoyed some fulfilling moments.
Now I'm bored with it, and since brewing tea has become a hassle, I'm just drinking plain water (lol).

My brother bought himself a big jug that holds the temperature and just make himself 2l of tea.

I love the jasmine tea, the one that you find in Chinese restaurants. But for some reason, there is often a shortage of specific jasmine tea in hypermarkets. I'll try your tip about something spicy !

Ooh, I was gonna mention Jasmine, one of my favorites

I love peppermint tea with ginger and honey!

That is so true! I wouldn't recommend biting chili peppers but if you ever do for... reasons, drinking tea with milk is the best way to get over it quickly and the most delicious one.
I love tea and my preferences vary over time. These days I'm hooked to oolong tea.

I cold brewed some Costco green tea (it has some tiny amounts of matcha in it) with honey. One of the best things I thing I ever made, and so simple.

I like a lot of the Yogi Tea sorts and recommend them to anyone. They use pepper, chili, cinnamon and other stuff that you don't expect in a tea, at least not as common western guy, and in general i like to have the possibility to choose something for my mood or needs.
If i sweeten them, then mostly with honey.

Yeah, the taste of honey in tea is much better than regular sugar. I usually add honey to very hot tea, so adios to the nutrients.

I add the honey first when the tea has cooled down to around 40°C or 50°C

I trend towards herbals. Licorice tea is a favorite, then stuff like corn silk tea.
For green tea I mostly only drink genmaicha and the black tea I drink is all heavily mixed stuff like Arnold Palmers or really sugary milk teas

Tea is perfect, I don't understand people who drink coffee when tea exists
