It's a bug on Steam's side that is making a (crappy) $5 game look as if it is actually several hundred $$$.

People are buying the hell out of it at $5 a pop so they can give it away here, hoping (in vain) that once the giveaway ends and the bug is fixed they'll keep the credit for giving away a $330 game.

In reality, once the bug is fixed (because it doesn't make sense to do before that) the people in charge here will update everyone who gave it away to reflect the real $5 purchase price.

Everyone else who benefited (by having their points refill quicker) will be fine.

There will be no need to update everyone. CV will automatically be ajusted due to the fact that SG uses one central price list for everyone. Your CV is always based on the current price reported by Steam, no matter what it was when you made the giveaway.
