The first hilly stage with a terrain suited to a strong breakaway. The 169 kilometers to Colmar has numerous climbs in the final 50km, like the Côte des Trois-Épis. If a break doesn't succeed then an Ardennes style rider could attack before the flat finish.
Winner: Peter Sagan
Set in a natural site between vineyards and hills, Boersch houses a few Renaissance treasures. The Town Hall and its spiral staircase encapsulated in a turret are not to be missed. A six-bucket well, dated from 1617, completes this remarkable ensemble. But Boersch also retains a medieval aspect in many ways, including the ramparts and gates (1340). At the turn of streets and alleys appear half-timbered houses and their emblems for trades, one fine example being the old house of the Teutonic knights (1499).

You are definitely on a roll ;)

But it could end tomorrow. It's really hard to guess who will be the strongest on the last climb. And Bardet has done nothing really great in the last weeks. I'm hoping his weight will help him to make the difference like he did in 2017 (stage 12 arriving in Peyragudes xith an impressive wall).
Wait and see...

I fully agree, before the first mountain stage we can only guess how the top guys really stand. I went with Bernal simply 'cause on paper he is my overall pick. Tomorrow we'll know more ;)

I don't see the break succeeding, Alaphilippe again from a much reduced field

I wouldn't be at all surprised.
