Hi, I hope I didn't come across too rude, cause this was never my intention. I just wanted to let a fellow and fairly new steamgifter know what could bring them into trouble.
I just researched what I had in mind when I said that it may lead to suspension and I found this:

So it was actually the admin closing a thread because of asking for whitelists.
While there probably wasn't any suspension involved for that it still obviously is not a good idea to have a topic solely for asking for whitelists.
So I think that lovol is probably right and it is OK to ask for whitelists as long as it is not the only purpose of a thread.

But I actually want to enforce what Sooth said. Your intentions were good and you definitely deserve at least a big THANKYOU for wanting to let us know about that offer! Yeah, it's definitely not your mistake the search didn't work for you. I was just so fast on posting, because I just remembered that topic which was pretty much the last thing I read here before the weekend :)
