Oh, I can really recommend „Buddy Simulator 1984“, even though it’s currently not on sale..
It‘s currently on my wishlist as I have played it with my friend when I was visiting them and I was really fond of it!
It‘s basically, as the name says, a buddy simulator. You get automated replies ans sentences to reply to and can play games with your new buddy such as hangman (in the beginning). Later on, the games you play together are less simple and come with more graphics!

I actually got it from a kind sould and beat it. But otherwise, a great recommendation, and one of the few games that has a purpose in breaking the fourth wall

This time I looked and didn‘t find „Rakuen“ on your list. That one, I really loved as well. My playtime currently is a little over 9 hours, but when I‘m back from vacation, I‘ll be trying to get the rest of the achievements.
You play a little boy who is sick which is why he is staying in a hospital. The story plays in Japan. There, you walk in between a fantasy world and the real world to help out other patients in the hospital to fulfill your own wish which is possible because of a fantasy creature in the other world. That creature is asleep though and to wake it up, you actually need to help the other patients.
In my opinion, a really cute game which made me shed a few tears in the end. If I could play it again without any memories of the last time, I would definitely do that.

I am surprised that you haven't owned Castle Crashers yet! It's a 2D hack-and-slash game and also (I think) one of the earliest games made by The Behemoth back in ~2008, and the current Steam version is a remaster/remake version of it. It has Behemoth's super iconic goofy art-style, and there are a lot of "derpy" humors alongside some really cool gameplay mechanics with different characters and different combos you can do with them. I think what makes the game even better is that it allows up to a 4P Co-op, and it's just a very fun and chill game to play with your friends (or by yourself). Highly recommend!
I don't think the game is on sale right now, but its historical low on Steam was 90% off according to SteamDB, and it usually gets a 80% off discount. If you have the opportunity to, be sure to snag it for yourself (or buy a copy for your friends if you enjoyed the game)!

I play it both alone and with friends. Although I think playing co-op does adds a bit more fun because you can utilize the arenas in the game that specifically caters to playing in co-op, the game is still perfectly playable solo!

you should try bastion. good art, good soundtrack, i lovd the game mechanics and lore. its a isometric 2d game, really good and made me smile. its kinda old but i wish you dont care about its age.
