Meaning, it was already used. I also have proof in case someone may think I'm lying. I always record the screen on video everytime I win on SteamGifts from the moment the "space cat" appears, usually to prove I didn't have the game before activating its key, in case something went wrong, and it had been useful at least two times before. This would be the third. If you need it, I can upload it somewhere.

Anyway, I have no problem if you want to delete this giveaway, in case you don't have another spare key to try. Just point at this comment when you contact support and they ask for my permission.

Hi, and sorry about that. For a Humble Bundle key, it should've just worked. I'll try to find out what went wrong and get back to you as fast as I can.

As far as I'm concerned, looking at your stats there's no reason to believe you would be lying, but sharing the video might help dealing with this issue. Thanks!

Don't worry about it, for this situation or if you can't get a replacement. Sometimes it just happens, especially if the key was old. What concerns me though, it's if the key was from Humble Bundle and you revealed just for this giveaway, it should've worked... and HB doesn't like when people give/sell/trade keys/gift links to others, and may give you problems or deny assistance for that if you contact them. HB used to be good and fair years ago, but not the current HB.

The video starts with the "space cat" and me, clicking on it to discover what I won, then opening its store page to confirm I don't have the game, before revealing the key and use it, then trying again more times after that because of the "key already used" error messages.

Well, that was a bit of a long wait. I replaced that key with another one. I hope it will work.

Some of the games I add here I won from a streamer and I usually get them as Humble links that I can redeem myself - those always work. When I received keys, they worked almost without exception. I can only assume that these rare cases are keys that others won but the streamer forgot to mark them as given away.

So please try the second key. If it doesn't work, I can either buy the game now, of if you don't plan playing it in the following days/weeks, I can buy it at a discount a bit later, considering the winter holidays are almost here and it will very likely be discounted again.

Either way, I'd rather not delete this just because of a mistake. I'll go with any decision without a problem. Thanks for being understanding about it. :)

Don't be worried too much about it, I would prefer if you delete this giveaway so you can relax and don't have it like this in your stats. But if you prefer to buy it, do it much later during a big sale. Right now I'm playing 2 different games at the same time, plus a third casually, so it will be at least 1 o 2 months when I'd pick it up seriously.

Something to consider, if you plan on buying it from the Steam Store and about regions: I'm in Chile, and you should be able to gift it for someone in my region if the price in your currency is equal or higher than my region, so check the prices here is you still want to go with your plan (Steam doesn't allow gifting where the price for an item is cheaper to a region where is more expensive):

Interesting, I didn't know that about the regional prices. I guess I'll find out soon what's possible. :) I'll try when they come up with new discounts.
