Can I really call myself a Doom fan, if I haven't played this? Because I haven't. Though I have played the standalone expansion. Y'know, the one on Xbox with Doom 1&2. Needless to say, my bro talked me into spending 99% of my rental time with that playing the classics with him, so I didn't even play RoE much. 😐

By feel, this title is an outlier in the series. 1&2 are the core of the franchise, 3 was an attempt to modernize it and 2016 was return to form.
MUCH less rip and tear, it's a lot more about horror than the other titles, since you deal with ammo scarcity, dark hallways and jump scares. Still, it's a worthwhile experience you can grind through in a night.

Yeah, back in the day when my friend played it on the OG XBOX well into the night, he had to bring his air pistol along to go to the bathroom. Oh, and at least Doom 1 is included in at least some versions. Can't remember if it's all versions and if it's both 1 & 2.
