The game is given to the backer for free (because the Kickstarter failed), meaning there are people out there got this game for free (I have followed this game since the day it was announced on Kickstarter)
Ok so they wanted to do it as 3D and create many more DLC characters. I don't think creating DLCs that add charcters should cost so much especially since they only need a new graphic/clothes/nude version on already existing template.
And it was supposed to be about being a mage in fantasy world BUT now you are an SCP agent? Milestones are also strange like they already knew they will create a separate DLCs for the game adding new characters so you support the game but by supporting the game they will also release DLCs in the future?
I still think that almost 500.000$ for such a game is too much. And a milestone --> 1.500.000$ for a VR is even more strange.
Still they got more than 66.000$ so they should stick to that more simple 2D SCP game instead of promising mountains and sky for a mountains of cash.
Projects like Pillars of Eternity from a big company that created great RPGs got $3,986,929 but p0rn games should not think they can gather 500.000$ or 1.500.000$ as most of their audience are young people with not that much of $ to spend.
Things like making the base game better and bigger and backer bonuses like t-shirts, cards, mousepads, soundtracks, maps, campaign books are also much much better than telling people that if they will get more money they will create DLCs characters for people to buy.
Good main game is better than main game + DLCs giving more nude characters.
Oh, that's a lot of things I didn't think about before, I actually learn so much things just from this lmao. But yeah, I myself also think that the goal is too much and already knew the Kickstarter would fail back in the day even though I enjoy the 1st game a lot xD.
