and the way they fixed that was to just make the pc lock up on errors so you didn't even get a error code to look up.

sometimes i do get an "hint" of what happened, for just 2 nanosecs, but still...

(and it's always, always because of an Update... so 100% Microsoft style :P)

if its a fatal crash your comp should beep on a reboot/start up telling you what hardware is the issue.
