My favorite dish is "Schwäbsiche Linsen" (swabian lentils) which may doesn't sound delicious at all, but surprisingly is! It's with spaetzle with lentils and sausage. My dad once ate it at work and thought it was that good that he tried to cook it at home without a recipe and he did it so well that it instantly became my fav dish when I still was a kid. When I grew older and my parents divorced my mother also had to cook it without the recipe. So in the end I have no idea if I would still like it if someone outside my family would cook it, but it became our own family secret recipe :)
