Description

I wish I could have given more folks a chance to win this, but it's Bethesda's fault that it's only good for the US. It sucks how restricted their games are. Maybe I can get a copy for everyone to try for, when it goes on sale on Steam, because SteamDB says it doesn't seem to have the same restrictions for that method of purchase.

Question: What did you get during the last Steam sale? And what did you really want, but it wasn't on a good enough sale? I got a few games, some of which include Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. They're games I've really been wanting, and haven't had any luck with winning. They have a special place of love and nostalgia in my heart. I could go on about them for ages! 🥰❤️

Anyone else love Monster Rancher? My best monsters were a Golem/Dino named Smoke, and a Suezo/Gali named Orion. Yes, I did not call my Orion Suezo anything clever. I thought that was already a perfect name.

My sister has such fond memories of playing this game with me, she named her most treasured orange and white cat after my favorite Suezo. Bless his wonderfully wholesome heart, and may he rest in peace.🥺My sister loved that cat more than life itself.

I remember playing one of the old Monster Rancher games on PlayStation original, and it was one of the coolest things ever. Having a giant collection of games, and music cd's ended up being a treasure trove of "What will this give me?" using a really neat feature the game had. Til this day I still wish more games did something like that again.

Agreed. That's still some of the coolest shit I've seen. I borrowed so many CDs from the library and from friends, all in an attempt to get the ultimate monster.

It'd be amazing if more games did this. At least the new Monster Rancher collection tries to emulate it, by allowing you to select a CD title in order to get the monster said disk would give out in the original game. That's something. Not the something I want as much as the old method, but still. I'll take it.

Exactly. The feeling was unique. I'll have to dig out my Ps1, and see if I can't get a copy of Monster Rancher for the fun of it one of these days. Haha.

I was able to control myself and didn't buy anything, there are plenty of games in my library that I haven't played yet.
I'm still entering giveaways just in case :P

That's what I did during the last winter sale. I really wanted the Monster Rancher game to play right now, though. And I figured I'd also play the others soon enough. The nostalgia was just eating at me. lol

I picked up Neon White and Untitled Goose Game to stream/speedrun. I grabbed a lot of other cheap games as well, but those were my biggest pickups

Untitled Goose Game is great. I got that a while back, and was so charmed by it. I love being a naughty goose.
