The Stage

Off we go to Bergerac (not the tv show).

I'll just quote a cycling site here, lol:

You know the drill - four blokes in the break, a couple of them from UCI Professional Continental teams, one of whom will make a doomed bid for glory about 10 kilometres out to ensure the day's combativity award, before the sprint trains come rolling past to set up their men for the finale.

So, which sprinter is gonna steal it today?

Tour Touristique

La maison forte de Reignac. Hanging over the rock in which it is inserted, this troglodytic "cliff castle" overlooks the Vézère at Tursac. Built in the 15th century on a site previously occupied during prehistory, it was inhabited until the 20th century before opening its doors to the public in April 2006. Infinitely larger than could be suspected from the outside, the fortified house of Reignac is in an exceptional state of preservation. Entirely furnished in the style of the time, it conceals impressive underground and open-air living spaces. At the end of the visit, an exhibition on torture and death penalty is unveiled in a dedicated space.
