Description

Here is a game that is niché as all hell. Probably why nobody made any giveaway for it yet. Nor ever will, I guess, unless it gets into some bundle.

If you like city builders, you should like this as well, since it has everything you need for a great city builder—including a complex chain of production and a large variety in resources, but not to the point where it may turn into a spreadsheet/database simulator.
Well, everything except one thing, graphical representation. This is a mostly text-based game.

Normally, only small demographic should be interested in a game like this. Therefore, I fully expect it to end up in the library of a (bot-using) CS:GO/Dota2/TF2/PUBG player who wouldn't recognise a good video game if it hit him in the head (preferably repeatedly), but maybe at least some of the intended audience will learn about this cheap game through this.

(Seriously though, the thing is like ten bucks. If you like city builders, get it. Yes, it is still unpolished, but look at the existing few reviews: it is slowly improving.)

Lol, I've read a review that said it's a clicker with-out clicking :))
I want to see how is that :)

Thanks for the chance talgaby!

...wouldn't that just be an Idle genre game? Wouldn't that be easier to say? :P

Bright side, something this niche isn't likely to enter the radar of those with more.. dubious outlooks toward gaming, so hopefully that'll curtail bot entries a bit. 'Course, it's a level 0 public giveaway, so one can't bring their expectations up too high.

That said, this is exactly the kind of game I prefer making giveaways for, but I'd wait until it left early access and for it to be on sale. These days, yeah, fair odds of a game getting bundled before reaching that point (or failing that, being bundled very shortly after reaching it).

It was on my wishlist already; didn't expect to see it here without being bundled first :) Should be right up my alley, but I'll have to wait for a good discount (unless I get lucky here!)

Thanks for always putting up interesting stuff (and posting interesting info), talgaby. You've helped add/remove stuff from my wishlist more than once :)

They decided to expand it and release it as a standalone.
I hope it will end up better than Kaboom Monsters, a game by another studio that went a similar route.

Has any Triple Triad knockoff ever ended up as more than mediocre, though?
..seriously asking, I'd totally be into a more complex, well-considered version of the gimmick;
It's just that, despite my dedicated persuit of card-based games, I've yet to find one. :P

No, but this and Knightfall: Rivals almost came close. The initial version here had massive balance issues though, one card simply was unbeatable and you could make as many as you wanted if you grinded long enough.
The other was delisted from Steam since then. Apparently, they gave up trying to fix the numerous bugs (it had an actual quest system).

Both were on mobile devices (I think both bit the dust), but they were massive F2P P2W there.

I like steamgifts because sometimes I find a game that I've never heard before and add it to wishlist. This is one of the cases, thanks for this ga.

Definitely hadn't seen this one until your giveaway, but yeah, I think it's really too niche for me until there's a flood of giveaways for it on SG. Love city builders, and even looking at all the charts and graphs and stats as I manage a city, but seeing the actual city in motion is the real reward for me with those games, not the increasing numbers. :)

I admit I'm confused about this game, when I watched the video, the added pictures of characters / buildings looks like not part of the game at all, and as you said it's more spreadsheet simulator. An UFO indeed !

But if they're playing one of those, they already recognize one such game!
