P.S. The larger problem of US gun deaths stems from gang violence, which itself stems from the "War On Drugs" and other factors. When comparing statistics, you also have to parse statistics more thoroughly, as "gun deaths" includes suicides, which is used in place of a more specific murder or homicide statistic in order to inflate numbers.
