Actually there are 2 different versions of this game. 1 version is called "Time of Shadows", and the 2. version is called "Dawn of Magic 2". It is so, no matter where you live. You can own them both simultaneously.
If you are giving away a copy from recent Indie Gala bundle, you should do version http://store.steampowered.com/app/33540/
http://store.steampowered.com/app/33540/ is called "Dawn of Magic 2" worldwide, and it is sold everywhere else than the version above. This is the version everybody gets from the recent Indie Gala bundle.
If you give away the wrong version there will be issues such as
the game won't register as owned after the giveaway for the winner. because they will own 33540 version instead of 33550
Not sure what you meant, but for me the 33550 link automatically leads to 33540. Ofc Shobo should add this to the bundle list. I added the text in the description so people who already own Dawn of Magic 2 wouldn't enter, since I will obviously reroll then.
Both versions can be activated worldwide so it doesn't surprise me that they both exist in the NA database also. I don't believe in that explanation what the support gives regarding these.
I don't understand why not program a solution to show the titles of the non-NA version games correctly. That is really the only issue here. It's 1 simple if-statement in JavaScript to switch the shown title. Almost all the issues regarding these games with 2 versions would get resolved.
Especially in this case, the 2 versions have completely different name so it shouldn't be an issue to not have them both available to give away. Or at least it should be the bundle version specifically that can be given away, not the rarer NA version.

Both links to steam app posted by theemu link to the same game for me (EU steam) So i think there must be no problem for Sgifts to track that I have activated the game.

This game is whitelisted among sg.tools etc. Support approved it as well, so it's no problem.
Also "Dawn of Magic 2" doesn't exist in the giveaway list due to steamgifts.com being run on the NA store!
