I've had a finger malady for some time now, which has pretty much frozen my gaming at close to absolute zero, and at last it looks like I'll be able to schedule the necessay (and very minor) surgery soon. If so, this will make my days an awful lot easier. Hoping it all works out!

It's been a pretty nice winter so far, properly cold and with a few dashes of snow. Our last few have been very mild, so this is a welcome return to form. We even had that rare combo of falling snow that made the streets look nostalgic and pretty, followed by enough general cold that the snow didn't immediately collapse into slush and grey puddles - a treat! I've been a bit of a hermit lately, but that feels right for the season.
