I would like to move on to Linux, but even though it covers me for everything (some video editing and some office work I do) because of the limited support on games it makes me go back to win7.

Win10 seems fine for me.
I also liked Vista (spare me the hate).
Didn't have many opportunities to play around with Linux but, as a casual user, it didn't seem viable.
I understand technical advantages of it but it simply wasn't practical as much (and I'm lazy).
I also grew up with C64, Win 95, etc. and I'm a layman. =D

WinXP was my favorite. I hated 2000, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. Win95, 98 and 8.1 were just okay.
In college, we still had a Win95 computer in operation in 2010. They refused to upgrade it, since the software was needed to run an old and expensive piece of equipment and they lost the installation floppy.
At work, I remember every version being forced by administration to some standard, such as "every computer has to be 64-bit Windows" even when there were still computers using 32-bit CPUs. /facepalm

Windows.
Really, I see no reason to use anything else. It does everything you could want with any other OS and more, and it actually has support for games.

Linux, definitely. I only use Windows when I need to play something that can't run on it at all.
And thanks :)

None :P. Use what you like or want to use. I personally use only GNU/Linux (Ubuntu dist.).

Quite pleased with Windows 10.

Thank you for the chance!

Win XP. It's still my main OS, and is probably going to remain installed permanently.
But I'm slowly migrating to Mint.
