What a massacre! Potatoes are truly outrageous and very dangerous. We shouldn't run to Steamlands, we wouldn't be trapped then... It's too late now.
We do everything possible, but can't remain intact. In the end we split up trying do disorientate and divide our enemies. When we arrive to Wastelands, we wait a few days for the other part of our group, but they never arrive...
We are filled with grief for our fallen friends, but we must continue the journey. That's what they died for.

• Cave of Despair -- wait some more time in Wastelands for Potatoes return to their fields and then carefully bypass them to the other side of the river.
