It's December 6 and December 6 is not only Saint Nicholas Day but also Knecht Ruprecht.
Good "kids" get some nice gifts from Knecht Ruprecht but bad kids... well... let me quote wikipedia:
"he hits the children with his bag of ashes", "Knecht Ruprecht gives naughty children gifts such as lumps of coal, sticks, and stones" and "He also reported to give naughty children a switch (stick) in their shoes for their parents to hit them with."
IF you find yourself on a blacklist of our Knecht Ruprechts today... well... deal with it and don't start drama. :P
