I recommend installing MyWOT. It's an extension for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera, and it should help you out. They're reliant on user reviews and ratings, so always be sure to take it with a grain of salt. For example, some sites can have a good rating but negative review comments explaining why it's been inaccurately rated. Other sites have bad ratings but its review comments explain that the site is actually safe. There are also some bots who try to skew the ratings, but you can usually spot them by their lack of a profile picture and having only one review on their record.

As always, use your own judgment and make sure to do your own research, even if it's something as simple as a Google search.
