You'll never know if the game will be free or not. I didn't give away free games and was level 4. But alas, now I am far from level 4.

You know it in the most cases because each person know if they gathered the key/game on a freebie site/for free or not and this is the main source for free games.
Of course none know how many of this games, wrongly, don't get set to free because the sg mods don't know about the freebies, but each one can expect that 100% of them get set to free.
