Do you consider a message that is not just a "thank you" spam too (because of inbox-swamping i'd guess), or just the ones with only a "thanks" in them?
I guess i'm screwed in that case, lol, so i might as well say: Thanks for the chance!
Nah you're fine, just don't need or care about thanks in any way so humorously informed people about it. If they get scared enough to not do it, it's a nice bonus. If you want to thank the community do it with your own giveaways is what I think. And give thanks after you actually won something, then it means anything. :)

Of course everyone has their own preferences, but to me it's thanks enough that people are helping me to get rid of them, so I should be the one thanking them for pressing Enter giveaway. It's not like I'm giving away some AAA game that's actually worth something, but at least it has cards! :D
I totally get you. I also hate getting spammed with those copy pasted phrases, it's so obviously fake, because they put zero effort into it. I much prefer wholeheartedly thank the person once I win a game.
