You can walk back to Warschauer Strasse or head on back to Ostbahnhof.
Honestly there is a lot to say about the East Side Gallery, but strangely, I personally never made it there myself. However, a few things I can say about it have to do with a controversy regarding tearing down this artistic monument in favor of some luxury apartments. Needless to say, this didn't go over very well. A massive protest was organized, and even The Hoff came out to speak out against this. They managed to delay destroying some of it for a few weeks, but ultimately it's now a shadow of it's former self.
If you're interested in it, you should probably read the wiki instead. It includes some of the artwork itself at the bottom of the article. Berlin is famous for this kind of art, even in places it's not sanctioned.

oh my god, so many amazing artworks! what a shame they did for the rich.. just as sad as everytime when they break down playgrounds or forests for new industries and shit :(

Yeah, that's why I prefer Berlin actually, they keep a lot of the forests around and try to stay as green as possible :D

If even The Hoff cannot stop it in Germany, that's trouble...
