Mainly just making the giveaways require a higher level to join if youre gonna make it public, since groups dont have the issue of bots.
People on the forums making invite only giveaways usually use a tool called sgtools to add a bit of bot protection, or just requiering the user to delete a few characters from the url, or even better puzzles!

Groups no, but these kinds of people use multiple accounts, and usually only join AAA game giveaways, really popular games or on giveaways made based on the steamgifts wishlist of users
It looks great from the let's play videos. Confessor or Prisoner are the ones I would try first, though I'd never say no to a good ranged attack with magic or bow. The amount of classes alone gives replay value for a long time. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

sounds like a serious issue, dyou know of specific giveaways swarmed by bots? or specific groups who can be exemplified as acting in such a way?
