Yes you won't find that many discussions in public giveaways here. I believe it's just due to the format and cheer mass of those. The chances to win are low and so it's nothing too special, so people often just don't feel like writing here and prefer spending their time "chatting" in group giveaways and such.
(and a lot of people on this site probably just enter with their autoscript or a quickjoin button :/)

It's better to visit the forums and just make a thread with a invite-only giveaway, if one looks for more talkative people. There you certainly find them! :D

i too lament how un-talkative the majority often are but cases to the contrary do show up sometimes ^^ thanks!
