This is pretty much same as the web version, but you will get 1500 coins after connecting your steam with the web browser account, and the steam version has it's own client, it's less laggy pretty much. That's all the differences I noticed so far.
Less laggy? I haven't had many problems with the web browser version, but I've seen reviews on steam of people's games freezing any time the timer reaches 0 on the steam client.
Maybe it's one of those things... what's it called? Your mileage may vary?
