I've had a lot of fun with this game, even though it does get very silly at times.

Yeah, currently playing through House of Ashes! These games are fun and interesting, but boy fo they take a ton of focus. They end up being exhausting, definitely not the types I want to play before bed hahah

Yea, I remember in Man of Medan there's an intense section towards the end where you have to hit so many QTEs in a row, otherwise everything goes to shit ... had to go back the next day and do it right.

Yeah, those are a massive pain. At least in House of Ashes you can replay specific chapters, not sure if it works the same way in Man of Medan. I also heard it used to be much more ruthless at launch and they had to patch the difficulty

And pressing A in time with the heartbeat ... my biggest enemy ...

I hate those sections as well... where I tend to mess up is those quick time events between scenes that you are invested in, where they pop up within a second and you're expected to react. Things are made worse by the fact that I own a Playstation controller. Xbox and PC ones have color coded buttons with different colors. Playstation controllers have one that is Blue, Green, Red and Pink for some reason. As you can imagine, in those split second decisions, it's super easy to press the pink instead of the red one and vice versa.
