Here is the default code used for trains, in case you decide to make another or participate in forum train events:

Hey mintberrychamp! Not so long ago, I made a train creator. It's in a state where every time I look at it I want to add something, but you can try it if you want. Here is the link, make a copy of it in your files first. And in your case, put 0 at the "Previous cart", don't leave it empty.

They may have been trying to use a train creator (some plugins have the ability, but it's hit and miss).
