You can send directly to the winners e-mail. Either if it's a steam gift, or link or even the key.
If you added the link when you created the ga, you need to select 'send key' so the winner can view the key or link you added. If you don't, it will not become available to him.

Yeah, I just got that figured out.

If you select 'key' when creating a competition, it asks for the keys.
If you select 'gift', it doesn't.

I've a lot going on this week, so I forgot about that, I've just mailed the winners with the giftlinks directly.

You can just select key and add the gift link [if it was bought on another site for example] on the same box. Then, when the ga ends, all you have to do is click send key and the winner will be able to see the link.

Are you sure you sent a key? You need to click "send" to send a key to the winner.

Yup, I had, hence why I was confused. All my other competition offers were for keys, and worked painlessly.
