Thanks for the game! I actually added this to my wishlist yesterday, so this is pretty cool.

I was really positively surprised to see someone win who had one of the Divinity games listed as their favorite games instead of just a random bot (I usually only do higher level giveaways because of that).

Yeah, Divinity: Original Sin is SOO good.

I see that you played Stellar Tactics, I've been keeping my eye on this game for a bit. What do you think of it?

Sorry that I don't feel like giving you a more elaborate answer, but I have a bad case of the stomach flue.
Having studied IT, I can say witout any doubt that you won't find another developer that is working as hard as Don Wilkins, the solo developer behind Stellar Tactics (and part of the teams that brought us Arcanum and the Wizardry series).
We are talking about a very active forum presence, individual tech support, a good dokumentation of the plans and progress and frequent updates - especially when soemone finds a bug.
The setting is very interesting, since it allows you to fit your standard fantasy elements (giant spiders, zombies, magic, close combat) into a far future space environment.
I can't say much about the space travel - or more relevant the space combat part since there is still a lot unimplemented.
As far as the basic combat is concerned, it is already fun, but kind of lacks the long term motivation for the type of user that is only interested in the gameplay and not how the game gets developed until you get some more options other than move, crouch and fire (with different fire modes based on weapons / weapon mods).
Long story short: this will be a great game in ~3-6 months, but right now the EA gameplay is nowhere near what you had with games like Divinity: Original Sin in their EA phase, but that shouldn't surprise you, since it is still in the pre-alpha stage of development. However if you have some IT background, it is very interesting to witness a game being developed and influence the decissions.
