Hi,
Thanks for your comment on Steam. Since our exchange I have been listening out diligently for bird samples before, after and in between the screeching we both love, but it has turned out they are rarer than I would initially have thought.
Looking at your Steam groups and favourite badge, you are clearly serious about your hobby! Nice to see you are into DHG as well.
Wishing you much further success at birdspotting, and a satisfactory resolution (as far as satisfaction is possible) to your country's ongoing plight.

Very nice, thanks! Yeah, as I said, I have been listening out for bird samples but what really surprised me when I started to do so was that bands where I was sure there would be plenty of them turned out to have few or none at all, e.g. Winterfylleth, Saor, Helheim, Fen or indeed Wodensthrone where you did find one. In my mind those groups do somehow have bird samples as part of the atmosphere so one could ask, in line with Bishop Berkeley, whether they do not "really" have bird samples after all? Only kidding.
I agree that the censorship drive on this site is not constructive, it will lead to endless further problems as people try to game the borders of the prescribed domain and in addition you cannot pacify the underlying disagreements this way, in fact you are likely to stoke them further. I often think that people cannot stand disagreements any more, they want to feel "comfortable" at all costs and, in doing so, unfortunately store up a lot of problems for the future. Maybe a generational thing.
Anyway, sorry to see you go (if you are still going) and all the best for the future!
