Steam gift in my inventory

It shows me that I own Endless Space Emperor Edition + Endless Space Disharmony DLC - is it okay for me to enter or should I remove my entry? Since I don't know if you count DLC as a game.

Darn! I would have entered this one, but I already have Dungeon of the Endless (+ 2 DLC) and Endless Space. That's 2 games and 2 DLC, well over your limit.

Sorry, am being a bit of a nazi. Part of the problem is I specified 1 main game on the discussion page. If I change my stance now I will be in trouble with other users. Next time i will drink more before I start posting giveaways, be in a more mellow mood :)

No, not at all. It's your giveaway, your perogerative. It's also a very fair restriction. I'm not complaining, just lamenting the fact I can't join in.

Have thought I should do some giveaways with just dlc...although sometimes that is hard to see whether the person already owns it. I know the Witcher 3 dlc's are a bit expensive..am waiting for a decent sale to pick those up for myself. Thanks for understanding

There is one way you can check if they already own the DLC, and that is to add them as a friend on Steam. Then there are two places:

On the DLC store page, it will show friends who own that DLC. Use this if you're giving it as a key, not a gift.
When you send the gift, it will show if they own it, or partially own it.

Interesting...gave away Pony Island (complete) a while ago and got a lot of comments about already having the game but wanting the soundtrack. Has me thinking that getting say 5 copies of each dlc may get some interest...will ponder it :)
