I've played many MMOs but so far the best in my opinion are Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy XIV(still playing this one). Whats your opinion.

I haven't played any MMOs as I prefer well-crafted single-player experiences. However, I am interested in playing MMOs that play more like linear games with an end goal (think Realm of the Mad God, but rather than joining in when the game is halfway over or almost beaten, you get to play all the missions in order with the multiplayer being more or less optional). Can you recommend any (free) MMOs that are like that?

Only played a little of it but warframe looks to be good. While not a full traditional mmo it is transitioning to it through their newest expansion.
but by gosh the grinding...

Same here. Played it for a week and then dropped it. Haven't played it since.

Still playing for the relax aspect, at the very least in early levels you don't have to think much just spam sprint crouch double jump to get anywhere you like and you can solo most missions.
The MMO looks promising but seems like you can only do it when you've unlocked a certain part of the game which means only those putting 40-50 hours can get to it. Not sure i'll stick with it when there's overwatch and titanfall that's just as easy to relax in.

OverWatch looks like fun. Sadly I am too dirt poor to buy it.

Managed to get it on sale for about £20 so price drops on occasion if that's more affordable for you, but sadly it's owned by a company that doesn't like to reduce RRP for their games even 5+ years later.

I'll keep my eyes out for the price drop. Hopefully the game will go on sale later this year and I can pick it up then.

I'm not really an MMO person. I have been playing Neverwinter lately. Pretty nice, but I can't say how it compares.

I've played WoW and other MMOs I've forgotten names of but my favorite by far (also the last MMORPG I played years ago) is Mabinogi.
I would continue playing it but adulting is time consuming.
