Considering it wasn't a planned absence from a computer and you are at least trying to make amends I'd say you are in the right at the moment. But I also agree with what zelghadis said about informing Support and trying to find another PC even if it is only to activate them.

First of all - sending Support Ticket seems like a much better idea to inform Support of your situation than writing on forums. Topic will probably get burined on forums before any of them even notice it.
As for entering - if you doesn't know when you will be able to activate anything - I would advise not. First of all even if you're informing support - you are still generating them more unnecessary work. Because people will keep reporting you - the more GAs you win the more they will see you didn't activate, the more they will report, the more support will have to look through and waste their time instead of solving actual problems.
Also - try to gain access to any PC - visit some of your friends or something, and just activate your current wins there.

If there is no category for your specific situation - what do you think category Other is for? :D:
Anyway good luck - and like I said - try to get access to some PC just to activate these 2 wins - it will also save you from false reports and Support form unnecessary work ;)

What Zelghadis says - ticket. Those from Other category get looked at pretty quick. At least it was the case with mine - I got a reply within a day, and everything was settled perfectly. So I add my voice and urge you to just send a ticket :)

Couldn't you just find some way to access a computer where you can install Steam and activate them? You don't have to install them immediately. Use steam guard and phone authentication and you should be pretty safe still.

I can't reply to your link message, my phone keeps loading the link...anyway, 2 of those places aren't street addresses, 1 is 40 minutes drive away and I have no transport, at least 1 is closed (Video Ezy) and at least 3 others are just cafes/restaurants with no public Internet access unless you have your own computer :-/

You should not mark it as received. If you've come to an understanding with the giveaway creator, that understanding should be "I'll mark it in a month when I*m able" not "I'll mark it received now, but activate it later".
The second could get you banned, while the first wouldn't be a mark against the creator (unless you mark it as not received).

They'll see the date of this thread and the date of the Ticket I sent in and realise I'm [legit](MC Hammer - 2 Legit 2 Quit (1991): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ5IaFGY7tY) ;-)

So when is the PC coming back? We can time it so that you get suspended the day you get back ;)

I think that's a good solution. Hopefully the GA creators are understanding. I know if it was me I'd let you (RowdyOne) wait a month to mark it received. I have enough giveaway slots that I could do without one for a month.

I would say that, if the creator agrees, you should mark it as received when you get the gift, meaning he/she could send the gift as soon as you are able to activate it. As far as I know if you mark it as not received withing the first seven days the game will be marked as "Awaiting feedback" afterwards, so that's maybe a bit better than a game marked as not received in someones profile. Otherwise tell them to reroll if you really have no chance of activating it and don't wanna risk the suspension or any trouble at all. Not judging you for anything here btw, I don't know why you are not able to access any PC but I bet it wasn't intentional.

Then he can just remove the feedback and is good to go, since it will definitely go to Awaiting Feeback then.

Okay, you're right. I'd like to say that I forgot about that, but I haven't read this particular line in the guidelines. Well... Seems like his only option is to let the creator reroll then. :/

For various reasons I have found myself without access to a PC for the foreseeable future, meaning probably longer than a month...
Now, I have 2 won GAs that I cannot activate, I have alleged the creator of 1 to my plight and they seem to be OK with me marking as received but I have yet to contact the other...
Anyway, the main reason i'm making his thread is so that Support ate hopefully aware of my situation should anyone turn me in for not activating (and yes, I fully intend to activate both games as soon as possible, they're not going to be fodder for regifting), but I also wanted to ask if you all think I should really be entering GAs when I have no way to activate them? I thought not...
