What do you normally do with a key to a bad game that has cards?
My trash folder is called, "Junk"
[Edit: sorry for the necro, I didn't realize this thread was from 4 months ago. Somebody just linked to it.]

But even for that I have my limits. Only games I got for free, no Dead Bits, Temper Tantrum, or games like these allowed. It must at least have some cool header picture. But somehow, some Digital Homicide's games passed through...
But even those, I play for a couple of minutes while idling (sometimes I idle manually), just to see how bad it is, just to laugh, and well, some are actually a bit fun. For one that used to waste a lot of time playing flash games in work, I can see fun is some of these bad games.
If I could go back in time, I would undo that tho. I added much shit I do regret. But as I'm already halfway though it, I just think "well fuck it".

I second that: I had over two dozen games removed from my account permanently. You can also hide them from the game list in the client, but permanent removal is an option.
Sadly it counts as non-monetary refund now and affect card drop speeds, if you also farm cards on your account.

Yeah, I knew some people have managed to remove games from their accounts, but I was hoping to use that only in the future. As I already have some shit activated, might as well wait so I have a bit more so I don't have to go through it more than one time.
Didn't knew about the effect on card drop speeds. I would still farm cards of games I intend to play, but not just exactly now, so I will keep that in mind when asking them.
Thanks!

You can ask for bulk removal, but you must keep in mind that they need product names, so the things you see at your own licenses page. Also, stuff activated as bundles cannot be removed, only as one (so, for example, if you add a HB key where one key is for several games, they can only remove the entire pack; same for Steam's own packages like the anthologies and such).

first I try to trade, if i can't find anyone who want to trade, i go for the cards

No. This sounds very unappealing to me for many reasons. I'd rather trade them or just give them away to someone who wants to play them.

I want to play it. Sure, I might change my mind and recoil in primal horror from my PC once I'm actually playing it, but I'd like to see if it's THAT BAD. I mean...
It can't be THAT BAD...
Can it?

If I don't want a game I do a giveaway in the hope that the game might go to somebody who would play it. This topic is making me a little cynical though...

I try not to buy any "bad" games, but I sometimes get some bundled games from a friend who has them double.

Usually don't buy it, but if it's in a bundle I'd see no reason to give it here. Someone must want it.
I've bought some of those $0.19 games for cards.

I don't know, do you?
The Culling of the Cows: ZEHF3-NB5QW-K79IW

I'm genuinely impressed. Good job on actually trying. :D

No game is bad, it's just not part of your taste.
Now, when the game is literally unplayable due to bugs and errors, then THAT'S a bad game.

This poll made me realize I've been doing it all wrong "sitting" on many keys without making a decision to activate, trade or give them away. So I just activated 12 games which were interesting enough for me to never trade or giveaway, but not interesting enough to actually activate and lose the option of trading them later once I made up my mind. Hopefully I get the cards to drop and sell them before the Summer Sale ends ;-)
These are the games btw:
Call of Juarez
Edna and Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Sword of Asumi
Always Sometimes Monsters
About Love, Hate and the other ones
POSTAL 1
Real Boxing
PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate
Loren The Amazon Princess
Last Inua
Demonicon - The Dark Eye
Chronology

Always Sometimes Monsters was a lot more interesting than I expected. Although the story is mostly drama. First Call of Juarez was also a good game back m the day, but I'm not sure how well it aged. Mind you, if you like wild-west games your choices are limited anyway.

No. I activate bad games because I'll actually try an play them. I'm a masochistic banana like that...

For this discussion, a "bad game" is one with poor reviews that you don't otherwise see a reason to play.
