stalker vs fallout 3

played both,both deal really well, but i prefer stalker for its atmopshere is closer to me

STALKER is more of an FPS, Fallout 3 more RPG

S.T.A.L.K.E.R for atmosphere, Fallout for story

Never played S.T.A.L.K.E.R, so fallout 3

I personally prefer STALKER, but Fallout 3 is also amazing. Play both if you can, you won't regret it :)

Both are extremely good. But I've enjoyed more the atmosphere and immersion from STALKER series.
But you should play both, they are equally amazing!

Played both, i would say fallout is MUCH better. Stalker is a little boring, there's no fast travel(you need to use mod for this) and it's only a shooter and pretty mediocre shooter. One thing stalker done right is atmosphere - it's amazing.
If you'll play stalker, play it with mods only, i recommend complete mod.

The storyline feels far more better.

The atmosphere is good.

The graphics aren't so good, but the gameplay is so immersive, you might and will forget that there is another job that pays you, instead, you will be looking for artifacts and go to sell them and become rich.

Definitely STALKER. Challenging FPS, that makes you use your brain and punishes you for stupid Rambo action.
Also the atmosphere is really amazing.

Stalker. Fallout 3 isn't bad. Stalker is better.

Can't compare them, Fallout is much more arcade & humor while Stalker focuses on atmosphere.

These are kinda different games with different genres and even price tags. In my opinion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is better because of its atmosphere and characters. I also don't like Fallout 3 because i was loved first two, and third turned out to be a disappointment.

Fallout 3 is an amazing game.

But... S.T.A.L.K.E.R. all the way. Better story, better graphics, a gameplay which works better and the best atmosphere in a game I've ever seen.

Fallout. STALKER is overrated, especially in Russia and Ukraine.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and if you ever see someone recommend the Complete mods, hit them over the head with and nearby metallic object.

Played both. Liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R little more than Fallout 3.

I enjoyed both. I think I liked Stalker the best though.

There is not much connection between these too games really. Oh yeah nuclear hazard and mutants.
That said I prefer STALKER. Better atmosphere and story. The exploration and side quest on the other hand are better in Fallout 3. Gameplay wise stalker wins. Shooting has weight, feels good to shoot up things. In fallout 3 shooting isnt really statisfiyng and the rpg elements feel foreced. No real depth, the game with stuff like vats only tries to look like an rpg what Fallout 1-2 was.
