360 version is plagued it with graphical glitches and what not from what I know, I would avoid that version :V
EDIT:
Plus, PC version AFAIK has some nice changes to gameplay.

Oh. Guessing your BR isn't that high then.
Game is just that long then @_@ I haven't played it in a while so I don't remember how long it was for me.

I've heard the battles get harder later, if you do a lot of early grinding (like it's the case with Elder Scrolls - Oblivion).
Haven't played past level 10 yet, so I wonder if this is true or not.
Can anyone confirm, that enemies will adapt to your level? Or are they always the same level in a specific region?

Well that was weird... I bought the game and put the code into Steam for activation. It tells me that it's "Sonic Adventures DX Retail". I look at it like "WTF?" but click Next anyway... And then it starts the download for The Last Remnant.... Weird....

You left your activation window open after failing to activate a sonic key, then hit back and put in last remnant.

Combat system is hands down one of the best I've ever played, haven't seen something like it yet, highly flexible/customizable as well :D
Storywise...depends on your tastes I suppose, I liked it myself. Definitely not on the level of any Shin Megami Tensei(Persona included) though lol.

Its closer to the FF's than any other game IF I have to compare it, The story is great "imo" with some nice side quests and quite nice background stories and stuff which adds to the atmosphere. The only bad thing i'd dare say is the combat music (always the same) even tho the whole game's OST is nice! pretty awesome game if you ask me.

The OST has some standout tracks, but felt a bit unfinished - the world map theme, usually one of the strongest themes in a JRPG, was just a short dull loop going nowhere (though to be fair, the game doesn't really use the world map much anyway), the desert theme was brilliant but they reused it in a later area and it didn't have the same effect, and while the combat themes do vary somewhat (and the main theme changes at the halfway point) a few more themes would have been good considering the length of the game (sidequests included) and how much time is spent in combat. I wouldn't say it's an awesome game overall, but it's got some interesting systems, it's one of the few JRPGs on PC (and an enhanced version, too) and it's less disappointing than some of this generation's other JRPGs :) At $2 it's a must-buy for anyone with the patience for it.

Oh, Desert Theme
I usually don't play JRPGs (especially that they don't come out on PC), but finished this one with huge pleasure. Interesting combat system fully playable even on keyboard, nice story and really beauty graphics for only $2.

A game that I want but can't get it because the site doesn't take accept my credit card type D;

I can't recommend this game enough. One of the most dismissed/overlooked gems ever.
People clearly just didn't give the game a chance after the flawed 360 version. There's absolutely no way the highly-superior PC version deserves the same score yet people did it anyway.

This game is kind of repetitive, not for those who aren't inclined towards JRPGs.

Funny how everytime this game is on sale, I have no money. It's becoming a habit D:

I usually save money when I can, but being a student means most of the times I don't have any ^^U. I'm trying to get a job this summer, to pay for my studies, maybe get something at steam summer sale...

Honestly, I couldn't get into it, wanted to try some jRPG (played maybe one or two in the past) but the game quickly turned me out.

Same here. Some of my friends love this game so I tried to play Last Remnant about 15 times and I got bored and deleted it :(

I have 69 hours in it and i'm still not finished. It's an underrated game and deserves to be played, I go so "far" to say: it's better than FFXIII!

I disliked that I couldn't micromanage my characters and they would do the wrong thing or at the wrong time... personally would have preferred something similar to the older FF games but it was interesting have so many people in the same battle - interesting game, but I did end up quitting and not following through with the game.... I'd still recommend it, especially for $2!! :)

There is a certain degree of control (you can disable your party members from using certain abilities, can train them to become certain classes which use certain skills more often, and you can also edit one of the game's ini files to let you equip characters with your own choice of items to some extent) but it would have been nice to have at least options for more in-depth micromanagement.

The Last Remnant
Thought I would post on the off-chance anyone wants this.
Also, ignore reviews, this game is pretty damn good, and also much MUCH better on the PC.
