Opinions on rust?

great game. . . well made, fun community I have to get my steam key.
Upsides: build a fort, kill other players. . . umm crafting

downsides. . . still in Alpha? many troll players. . easily outnumbered though more fun then bad. Unless a group gets the outs for you and you have to jump ship. Oh I do think it is a bit over priced, though I have gotten my money out of it already.

I'll probably avoid alpha and beta stage and see where it goes. I know that they are going to remove zombies and i am fine with that, but I don't want them to change anything else really. I heard that they might remove modern guns and it will be pure wilderness survival, guns n shit is what kept me interested in this game.

If the DayZ type of survival is what you're looking for, you might want to wait till the game is released. Things might change a lot.

I'm debating to keep my steam wallet now until the Christmas sale or just spend it on Rust or get another 5$ into my wallet to get DayZ

Get it when they add hd textures to the doodles.

Get a vehicle with double galvanized steel (luxury vehicles have this process done) which will prevent rust.

Needs a lot of balancy tweaks at the time. People keep abusing C4's to raid noobs houses. Its a very good and entertaining game though, worth its price. Remember that it is in Alpha, eventually, it will get better.
