Lot of Borderlands GOTY

Fast question: does someone knows why Borderlands GOTY Is so requested in this days? I've received a lot of offers and someone with 5csgo Keys.
It's strange cause is a very old game now, and when on sale is very cheap.
I've noticed that in cheaper site is now at 20€ or so..

Remastered version will be released on April 3rd and all owners of original will receive it for free. Also original version could be removed from the store, that's why everybody is trying to get it while it's possible.
I've tried to get it too, but failed for now. Prices are sky high now.

AFAIK everyone with Borderlands Vanilla or GOTY will receive Remastered Edition (aka, GOTY) Free on April 3rd

I dont think most people want it for themselves. People who love borderlands and care about the remaster probably already own the regular version. I guess there are just tons of resellers that try to make a quick profit.

He meant even in supposed 'cheaper' key reselling sites, the game costs a lot now compared to what it was before (as you say 2 quid) and thus prompted this categorized in the wrong section topic from the OP

Owners of Borderlands (base game, not GOTY) will get the update that included all the DLC turning your game to the GOTY edition (plus all the "remaster" features)

Well, there will also be tweaks added to the game, plus new weapons and SHiFT player rewards.

It'll make a bunch of small but significant tweaks to the game. As well as a minimap in the style of Borderlands 2 which you can switch on or off, the inventory system will be simplified, and you'll automatically pick up items found on the ground like ammo and health.

There are more fundamental tweaks to the game, too. The game's final boss has been altered for a tougher, more rewarding challenge, and to make it a more "engaging" encounter

Like people before me said it's because of remaster edition. Checked my humble profile, had one key from bundle, gave it away, hope winner will appreciate it, but checking his profile doubt that, just hope he won't trade it away.
