How to get more cards from the Monster minigame?

I have the same problem, I am almost lvl 1000 and got 3 cards by now ...

BUY them ! xD

I think I got one after killing a boss.

Around level 1200+ and have gotten 3 drops, the badge says 3 card drops remaining, but I have no idea what that means... It would have been cool if they could drop from bosses or something, Idk.

I think number of cards you can get is not based on level. I think could be based on time while game is open and "playing" same than standard card drops in standard games

Related question: how do I get them to drop? It says I have 2 cards unlocked on the minigame page, and 2 card drops remaining on the badge page, but I'm not getting any cards.

uhm, i tried to join a new game and it popped me a new card, and now after the first boss (lvl10) another... i suppose we're limited to obtain 3 cards in a game? O_o

It's broken for me, it says I unlocked 4 cards when I really got 0, and it said from the beginning that I have no card drops remaining.
Anyone else?

How to get cards:
1.Open that game
2.Don't think about cards drop
3.Don't do anything because the game is already f** up xD

you can try out to restart the game. i got 2 cards by making this.

It seems the drop system is broken. I have not received any card at all today :/ And yesterday I received only 2, and they were both after they fixed the servers and the game started working.

I had 2 cards from crafting badges
Then the night after the sale began I found 3 more cards in my inventory
Then I had 3 card drops
Now I have 4 card drops and one more card dropped in my inventory, it's totally random...

Just start a new game thats all. You should get 1 drop on start and 1 after first boss :]

i got one when i clicked pla yon the first day, got one drop after we killed the level 10 boss (was actively clicking at the time) and got one when i clciked play on the second day. We're at level 1133 at the moment and no random drops today. got 3 cards total and my badge page says i have 3 drops remaining

Constantly try to rejoin a brand new game after 3-4 hours of no drops. This is how it worked for me for a second card. The drop system, like the whole game in general, seems to be terribly coded and glitchy.
I really don't know what was the problem with the cards for votes system… Maybe the fact that is was of the few parts of Steam that still worked.

This game is so fucking lame. I get the card drops including a foil on my low level alt and on this main I've only gotten one drop today.

I'd say it has nothing to do with how much you play the game. Because I did.

(Didn't get a card for/after joining my first game today. Nor after any boss.)

it doesnt matter what level you are or if you have the game open you only need to start playing the game and then you'll randomly get a card drop, up to 3 in 24 hours.

"you still receive your card drops (3 per 24-hour period*) after closing the game, but it resets each day at 9am PT (see the Previous 48-hour Dailies/Flash Sales countdown timers above and subtract an hour), so don't forget to rejoin -- an easy way to keep this in mind is "New Dailies = New game"

If you really want drops you should play CSGO and DOTA 2. At least these are a little more consistent.

Starting a new game and destroying the level 10 boss worked for me. 2 cards dropped

I'm level 0, I played the game for 5 minutes and I have 3 cards. (3 more remaining)

This thing is broken. It should work like normal games - counting how long you play the game and should not require you to start over. I mean, when you level up to higher levels, you also level up your badge, it should not force you to start a new game just to get extra cards, because then leveling up your badge will get harder.

on the badges page it says that i got 3 cards and i still have 3 card drops, it would be awesome if steam could fix whatever makes the slowest card drops ever or be more explicit about how to get them
i know that steam is a stats whore and loves millions of users online but geez, not everyone can be online 24/7!
