Usually when buying a new bundle that has several games that i do not own i go and manually sync my Steam gifts account to pick up my new games.

Bought two of the Fanatical bundles and when trying to sync i get the make your profile public error even though my profile is public and nothing has changed, changed some stuff to re-sync and then re-sync .

Anything specific i can look into getting this sorted or is it a server/site issue?

It seems to affect mainly users with big libraries, so I guess Steam is having problems handling API calls.
It's working fine for me with my average size lib. ;)

it mostly works 5-15min later .

I dunno, Steam has hickups on occasions and that's pretty normal, but however it's definitely not a SG problem and seems to affect only big libraries. :)

My library is barely over 1000 games and I'm still unable to sync in the last 3 days. So I don't think library size is all that important... or our definition for big differs greatly.

Haha true. What is big in Steamgifts terms? :D
I guess 1000 games is kind of a threshold for bigger libraries, but yeah maybe my guess is wrong. I had no problems so far during syncing.

Yeah I guess it depends what you count as big. I have less then 500 and it stopped working a day for me. Good that it hasnt happened to you though. Its very annoying
