aye, neither tried to ask steam for a refund, only thing can i do from now is to check steamrep.com...badly he was a level 28 with lot of pages of +rep, probably fake I'd say now, but seemed to be a fair one

he had lot of positive (for trading) reps on his profile page, but it's private now :p I know reps could be fake too tho

you cannot give link publicly on Sg - it's calling out and will get you suspended.

also if you'd check his SG profile, you'd see that he has 8 negative feedback, up to 1 month ago, all calling scam and he is permamently banned from the SG - next time check who you're trading with.

never trust rep pages ... but ask around the SG community for fair traders.
i learnt it the hard way too. :/

in this case rep pages would help him - if he would bother checking them first. before he got scammed guy had already 5 reports on steam rep, 8 negative feedback on SG calling him a scammer and most of all permaban on SG for scamming.

you can also consider installing Enhanced Steam addon (http://www.enhancedsteam.com/) - among many other functionalities it will also add set of quick links to users profiles so you can quickly check them for example on SG and SteamRep. Below is the screenie of how will it look like:

Sorry fate , it sucks. report him.don't cry. take a breath. calm down try to discern where did you go wrong , at which step you should have realized this is scam and be wary in the future. vow not to make make same mistake again .. don't know where you can name him except on your steam profile itself or in private chats/forums.

Register with that mail on all and every of gay-porn websites you can find and turn on notifications of, uhm, new and interesting stuff.

would like to, but would be no-sense, he has gmail that works fine with spam mails, and btw when you subscribe you have first to confirm registration :P

Ah, an excellent plan, sir, with only one minor drawback. It will do nothing to him, not even annoy him if he marks the email addresses as source of spam and removes them, he will simply avoid getting any more emails from those email addresses.

Sorry to hear you're scammed, I'm 11 years on Steam and I was trade scammed here on SG for the first time ever about 6+ months ago. It's not about the game I lost it's about feeling scammed that hurts the most...
