Oh, that would be quite an elaborate way of using Morse code. Also, the method you used to skip some of the lines seems interesting. :-)

So far 4 entries, 5 days remaining. Take a break, and later, maybe you'll see the puzzle from a different perspective and it will fall into place. ;-)

Man, this was so easy to figure out. Letters are t, r, o, l, l. ;P

HAHAHA I found your puzzle @ yahoo answers
Somebody wants others to solve the puzzle for him/her :)

Dear Jodi, I'm quite disappointed. You could have at least told the people that they are helping you to get a free game.

LULZ Isn't that what you were doing when you were searching for the puzzle online? I already told you guys, it's "troll".

Nope, I was searching for coding methods. Not for somebody to solve the puzzle for me.

Nope, spent 2 hours trying to decrypt... I have no idea.
Anyone got any idea what language the code is in?
Comment has been collapsed.
The code isn't in any language. The solution is a group of five random characters, without any special meaning. The characters may be lowercase letters, uppercase letters, or digits (not all three possibilities are necessarily included).

Nah.. I give up!
Thanks for the puzzle that wasted 6 hrs of my life! Lol.

Perhaps you need to look at it from a different perspective. :-)
(Three days remaining, one entrant says it took him about 10 minutes. Yes, I know the last sentence isn't helping much. :-] )

Five people so far (only four of them have entered).

I'm afraid you might be on a wrong track there. I strongly think this puzzle is all-or-nothing. (Give or take one detail that some of you might consider ambiguous, and which might cause you to try 2 codes before you find out which of them is the right one. But even then, you would know which two codes to try.)

A few people successfully made it, so this will probably be the last hint:
Those who know what the puzzle looks like probably don't know the code by heart. Those who know the code by heart probably don't know what the puzzle looks like. (There may be some rare exceptions.)

I think I figured out the pattern(PERSPECTIVE!), but it didn't help much. My eyes are bleeding from trying to compare my idea to other "images".

To get the address, replace "xxxxx" with the solution of this. (the same image, but on imgur)
(Puzzle idea shamelessly borrowed from one ciphering competition. Ends in 1 week.)
Hint #1: Solution requires the knowledge of a certain existing coding method (such as Morse code). It is fairly well-known, and the details can be found using Google/Wiki.
Hint #2: another version of the image
Hint #3: Those who know what the puzzle looks like probably don't know the code by heart. Those who know the code by heart probably don't know what the puzzle looks like. (There may be some rare exceptions.)
I HAVE POSTED THE SOLUTION IN THE THREAD
