Is it worth getting the RER2 Complete Set right now, while it has 33% off?

Nope, keep waiting for a big sale. It was a ****ing failure of a release, and doesn't deserve the higher amount of cash.

Have you played the game after the recent patches?
It was a complete disaster upon release but it runs great now.

Capcom hates us since the $1 error. Its obviously going to be cheaper elsewhere.

I'm a hardcore Resident Evil fan and i must say this game is AMAZING.There's no horror to be honest. However,It's not "Action" based game as RE 5 & RE 6.You'll get to know more about barry's family. Also,The story is full of surprises. After you complete an episode you'll be so excited to continue playing to know what will happen in the end. There're two endings both are very good and depends on a decision u're supposed to make in episode 3 (Not going to spoil it for you). The game had many glitches on launch.I didn't face any troubles maybe except frame drop during a play-through in a place full of lava. The Raid.Mode of course got improved so after finishing the game you can still enjoy the raid mode. The local co-op will enhance your experience.Capcom fixed all the glitches/bad optimization on pc version so if u decide to buy it,You won't face any troubles (I hope so).

The game is indeed great and the only real problem i have/had is that it seems to run really poorly after reloading/starting a new game for a minute or so before going back to normal.. This is really painfull when i get a save spot during a fight >>

Definitely! I bought the complete season when it came out and I think the 72hours speaks for itself :)
Most negative reviews came from the initial release when the game ran like shit, but Capcom fixed almost all performance issues and the game works pretty well now.

The other half of the negative feedback came in response to the false advertising from Capcom.
They marketed the game with local co-op for story mode, but upon release they quickly removed it from the store page's feature list.
Local co-op was later added in one of the patches after massive community backlash.

Anyways the game itself is pretty solid, especially after a weak Resi5 and Resi6 this one is heading towards a good direction, however lower budget shows here and there.
