Greetings community,

This is a reminder about our policy regarding gifting Humble Bundles.

  • When you submit a Humble Bundle, it is only acceptable to have an unactivated gift URL to provide to the winner.

  • These rules also apply to additional keys within the Humble Bundle. Please do not giveaway separate keys.

We appreciate your cooperation.

Note: Please do not submit games from the IndieGala Bundle. This bundle will not be giftable and the keys from within the bundle are not allowed to be submitted.

-regards

I already have the bundle. Why I can still enter to it? I sync my account.

Why should you bother with it anyway? Just don't enter it...

I'm just wondering how can u find out if the keys are from the bundle or they arent.. And why is there a problem to gift them after the Indie sale is over?

You can't find out until you actually redeem it(however the keys from the Humble Introversion Bundle look like this: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX).
You're having problems with gifting the keys? Contact their support in that case. I never had any issues.

And why is there a problem to gift them after the Indie sale is over?

The individual codes shouldn't be given away because, owing to the DRM-free aspect of the bundles, this would enable two people to access the games that were paid for (or sometimes, sadly, "paid for") only once. Very similar to actually pirating a DRM-free game.

Nah I dont have any problems gifting the keys or w/e. I bought only 2 for me and my buddy. I was just wondering.
Also this indle gives u separate codes, not 1 for the all games.

HIB gives out a code for multiple games(except Dungeons of Dredmor). MOST of the HIB's work with the multi-games with 1 key basis.

Yeh, but I meant about the IndieGala. Which u get separate code for every game. I mean why can't u gift them after the sale is over? o.O

I think the guys at Gala mentioned they were implementing gifts.

Anyway I have a suggestion: I think it should be required that the description mention whether or not the gift includes the bonus content. For the latest one it would be Dredmor, Aquaria and Crayons.
Some people might be interested in this.

Actually...it should be like this: when creating a giveaway of a HIB, you would HAVE TO chose if the bundle has the extra games or not and that would be displayed next to the name or on the giveaway page. That'd be nice to avoid all the confusion we have now.

The most user-friendly solution might be simply having two different "games" for each bundle: "Bundle X WITHOUT bonuses" and "Bundle X WITH bonuses". No need for descriptions, no need for any additional clicks, allows the users of the SG addon to filter out the bundles without bonuses, allows for different point values (such as 0, ahem ahem). (Though I'm still not sure if it would be worth the effort.)

there are people submitting the bundle without the bonuses( aquaria, crayon and dungeons of dredmor). Is that allowed?

ok then. :D and i agree with Lorkhan sugestion, would be a good idea if people put in the description if the bonuses are included or not.
