idea is to have an additional wishlist at steamgifts.com that is separate from steam's wishlist. it would be great to have at steam's wishlist only the games you sure you'll buy soon and at SG all other interesting games. sometimes it's 100+ games at steam wishlist and it's not very comfortable.

Too much strain on the servers. Also too much work.

+780 games on my wishlist so yeah, it'd be nice.

Well SG could drop the freaking friendlist, or at least allow us to empty it, if data are so much strain...

Honestly I kind of wish Steam itself would have something like this. Being able to categorize the games in your wishlist, such as "buy as soon as possible", "kind of interesting game", "games to play with other people" or whatever. That's probably my number one most wished feature.

Yeah, there are a bunch of games like early access titles that I have in my wishlist just to keep tabs on.

They already have a separate category for games that you "Follow" -- it would be nice if that list was easily accessible.

YES! I got several games on my steam wishlist only for the sole purpose of steamgifts, which is really annoying when you are into trading etc.

Maybe people put way too many games on their wishlist to begin with. How would you get time to play them all? XD

I see some people I am friends with on Steam with 1000+ on wishlist and I am like... :O Sometimes, I check my friends if I have spare copies of keys, and I give them games, but if they are a person with 100s, or 1000s on there, I don't bother. I figure that they are only card farming. =(

Hmm I have a couple hundred games on my wishlist - Mostly because I use Barter (imports my wishlist) and there are games I'm interested in that if I can trade my spare keys for something I'm at least interested in, it's worth it!
My top 10-20 are the games I really want, but then the top 50 also are games I'd like to play soon. I also wishlist a lot of upcoming games to get notified when they release :)

I tend to keep my top 10-20 up to date fairly often though :)

Ah, I'm not a trader, so I guess I didn't think of that. I do that too where I just add some games to the bottom of my wishlist that I want to check out when they're released. =) But some people literally have an endless scrolling wishlist and that's a NOPE... not looking through that. XD.

Although, I do prefer to give spare stuff to people with small WL. At least I know they actually want the games and not a +1. ^^

Yeah I definitely know what you mean about giving gifts wise - I have a friend who doesn't trade and I think they have like 2000 items on their wish list. Can't understand the thinking there haha.

My steam wishlist is "I would play this if I got it". There's tons of great games on Steam, so I have like 600+ on wishlist.

Well, that, and a few bundle games to track for SteamGifts.

Around 200 here, most of them is not released or I wait for them to be cheaper, and some indies have really stupid names that are hard to remember to :D Many, many of my most wanted games aren't even on my WL because I remember them without a list :P

Used to have 2500+ on my wishlist. Then one day I came to my senses. I don't have that problem/disease anymore 😊

This is a really interesting idea. Personally, I constantly add games there that I want to follow, but do not plan to play them yet.

Sounds like a decent idea. Would be nice to separate the "Games I'm willing to wishlist for the sake of winning on SteamGifts" (which would account for close to 2000 of the 2500+ games on my Steam Wishlist) and the "Games I really REALLY REALLY want to have" (which mainly applies to just the top 50 or so in my wishlist)....
