FIFA 14 online features

I'm planing to buy FIFA 14 tonight and i was wondering does the online features like ultimate team still work?

They do work, but UT for 14 is kinda dead now, not worth buying for the MP. You can get FIFA 15 (that is more alive) for like 10$ on G2A.

I'm gonna play it offline mostly, and doubt i can run FIFA 15 on my laptop. Thx for the info :)
