From the article:

You'll have to go to your game library, select one of the mentioned titles, navigate to the "Extra Content" pane, and get each DLC separately

Sadly Dragon Age: Origins Awakening is not included as there's no way to buy it separately on Origin (it's only in the DLC pack).

Already had some DLCs for Dragon Age 2 (I guess they unlocked with the main game, from one of the Origin bundles), it's nice to get the remaining stuff

I said I will not buy some minor DLCs for ME until they discount them.

10 years later and I managed to do it, even when I will not play it on origin again. Yay? They release DLC for ancient game, and people that will just start to play now will pick LE edition, as mechanic in 1st game is quite ancient. If I'd be to play it again it would be on Steam to see improvements they did.

Thought I guess they will not change multiplayer packs price to 0, so it would be possible to finally get those shiny shiny gold ultra rare weapons you always dreamed of :eyes:

Cool. Some games had this message: "Upgrade your game at no extra cost".

As a result:
Batlefield 4 -> Batlefield 4 Premium Edition
Mass Effect 3 -> Mass Effect™ 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition (2012)
Mass Effect 2 -> Mass Effect™ 2 Digital Deluxe Edition (2010)
The Sims 4 -> The Sims™ 4 Digital Deluxe

After a bit of Google research, this is probably temporary while you have (a free month of) Origin Access - which apparently can be obtained by enabling 2FA. (Edit: Or at least it used to be possible, not sure if it still works.)

I do have EA Play so it could be related, but I haven't seen this message before. Either way it's still a cool gesture from them.

without EA play these messages cannot be seen. i wonder if your full versions stay after EA play expires.

Nice, I used pirated versions of ME1-3 for my first playthrough and I thought that people without the DLCs would miss an important part of the plot. Seriously, these DLCs should have been included from the start. I remember how unconveniet was the system of purchase for the DLCs - you couldn't buy them for dollars, you had to buy some "bioware points cards" and then use the points to buy DLCs.

Kept getting a bug but after some refreshing I managed to get them through the web, except for one soundtrack DLC that refuses to show the "add" button.
Thanks for the info!

You didn't miss it. It just happened. I absolutely vividly remember the July announcement and I made a conscious note that this never included the bundle (primarily of which all those DLCs were included in it anyway), the superfluous digital upgrade and the non-game DLC for ME3. I presume that that offer was perma-free due to the nature of its relationship with the BioWare system. In light of that, for some reason they're offering the bundles For ME2 and ME3 for free even though it appears it offered nothing new after what happened in July, and this seems a last-minute ditch effort given that the sunsetting would officially occur in a few days from now. It's a weird flex, for sure.

That dude posted tweets on March 15 & 26 to how to keep using Origin

Basically you will need to download the full installer of Origin (not the "thin setup" one) for the version before the last update, and add few setting keys to a local.xml file to prevent Origin from forcing you downloading the latest update again
